BRI’s original purpose was to co-ordinate Sales and Marketing efforts for Ghost - now known as Symantec Ghost Solution Suite. The worldwide Technical Support personnel for Ghost, who served as a liaison between the Programmers in New Zealand and end-users worldwide, were also housed at the Glendale location. | In June of 1998, as the result of Symantec Corporation of Cupertino announcing the acquisition of Binary Research (New Zealand) Ltd., BRI was spun off into an independent, privately-owned company which continued to sell and support Symantec Ghost. BRI is still considered to be the prime repository of Symantec Ghost sales knowledge. Among its long list of satisfied customers, BRI counts 71 of the Fortune 100 Companies. |

Today BRI has re-focused its business activities on three areas of core competence.i) Developer Services. Using our highly experienced team who were key in bringing Ghost, MailMarshal, WebMarshal and RemotelyAnywhere to market and gaining significant market share, we offer a range of services to software Developers aimed at preparing and getting their products into the market. We support this process by also developing ancillary services and products to enhance the revenue streams and professionalism of the products. | ii) Training and Consulting Services. Here at Binary we have been developing and delivering Symantec Ghost training across the USA since 1999. Recently added to our workshop options, are two new courses on the Deployment of Vista. 2008 also sees us expanding our consulting activities to encompass services related to all aspects of preparing for, and implementing, the migration to Vista. |
iii) Network Administrator software and technical support. With in excess of 170,000 technical users in our Customer database, BRI is enhancing the service we offer to the Network Administrator and technicians. We not only source of the “best of the best” of software solutions to address the challenges of developing and maintaining networks (both remotely and locally) we will soon be providing a forum targeted at the NA which will offer the opportunity to discuss issues, find technical information and shortcuts on issues and products in an attempt to offer Network Administrators another useful resource to help solve day-to-day headaches. | RELIABLE AND SECUREWe have been doing business on the Internet since September of 1997.
