How is it Licensed?

  FSH Express This is a FREE version of the program. It is for environments with 10 or fewer machines. It is limited in it's functionality and support is ONLY available via the FSH Forums and on-line documentation.

  Small Business Edition - FastTrack Scripting Host (FSH) This license is designed for the smaller network environment with between 11-50 machines/seats. FSH Small Business Edition may not be used on more than 50 machines/seats. It is priced at a flat rate of $499. This version contains all the functionality of the Enterprise edition and Support for the first year is included in your purchase.

  Enterprise Edition - FastTrack Scripting Host (FSH) Enterprise edition is licensed on a Per Seat basis. That is, each and every unique computer (physical or virtual) which hosts the FastTrack .exe must be covered by your License. Licenses may be re-used if the licensed computer is taken out of service. This edition is for environments with greater than 50 machines.

It is possible to upgrade your FastTrack Small Business License to a FastTrack Scripting Host Enterprise License and we will credit you the cost of your Small Business edition purchase if you upgrade within three months of your initial purchase.

  What does "Per Seat" mean?

One seat permits you to use the License on one computer, be it physical or virtual.

When using FastTrack Logon, FastTrack Inventory or an exe file built with FastTrack Scripting Host, a License seat will be distributed to any executing computer.

For terminal services or any other kind of remote services, a user account executing a copy of FSH.Exe, a FastTrack Inventory exe file or an exe file built with FastTrack Scripting Host is considered a seat.

What are you purchasing?  The purchase of a Small Business or an Enterprise License for FastTrack Scripting Host includes 12 months of technical support, upgrades and updates (Maintenance), access to the FSH forums and extensive on-line documentation. Maintenance can be renewed for additional one-year periods. Please call your Account Manager for the cost of renewal of the Maintenance.

So what IS the Cost?

  FastTrack Scripting Host Small Business (for up to 50 machines)  - $US 499

  FastTrack Scripting Host Enterprise. The price of an Enterprise License is determined by two criteria: i) how many seats you need to License and ii) what type of organization you are. We encourage you to use our "Request a Quote" facility above or e-mail us with details of your requirements: Sales@BinaryResearch.net  so we can ensure that you receive pricing appropriate for your environment. As an indication however, should you wish to License 1000 seats of FastTrack Scripting Host as a corporation, that will cost US$8.33 per seat and US$7.20 per seat at the 5000 seat level.

Are Discounts Available?  YES - Volume License discounts ARE available for FastTrack Scripting Host Enterprise Licenses. Additional Enterprise License discounts may be available for registered Academic facilities, authorized non-profit organizations and Government agencies - please contact us for more information.
