Based on standards this application provides centralized administration of your Network-Assets while being extremely cheep on your network resources.

Any Microsoft Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) function can be used in the administrators Custom Script facility. This facility permits the administrator to report on registry entries as well as WMI functions.

Another standard that is used is the Comma Separated Value (CSV) files used in the reports. Most of all tools today can read and report on this data format. You can use Microsoft Excel, Borland QuatroPro, Lotus 123, Paradox, Microsoft Access (To name but a few) to create custom reports that meet your exact requirements.

We use an industry standard setup.exe that installs and de-installs the product on the server. And “YES” you do need to be the system administrator to install and configure.

You can configure most of the options from the Setup or use the defaults. Once the product is installed you can reconfigure the options from the WEB interface. The RADAR PC Client (Client) can be pushed by the Logon script; this is the preferred method since it can be used on selected groups of users via policies etc.

The Client can be sent by mail as an attachment or a as an embedded HTTP link that the users is requested to run. The client can also be pushed down via the network interface located in the WEB interface, each node that is active can be selected as a target for the Client.

Network-RADAR is a Fast and Simple PC Hardware Inventory tool that performs automatically and silently. No clients to install and all the data is sent to a central server. WEB based administration allows you to find hardware and software throughout your network.

RADAR does not need to occupy a central point on the network. It can be located anywhere within the environment. A simple Microsoft Windows NT based system is required to host as the RADAR Server. The server does not require to be a PDC a BDC or server for that matter an Windows XP workstation Pro can be used by small networks.

The Client installs automatically, it is simple to deploy and is completely invisible and non-intrusive to users. The client can be pushed by logon scripts, be pulled by email or by web access.

As RADAR clients are not permanently installed on users workstations, admin rights are not necessary to deploy. The user’s temporary workspace is used as the destination location. No registry entries are done and nothing is left running on the PC as with other competitors. When the user cleans his temporary space all remaining client files are removed.

Only free CPU time is used to collect data. The user does not see any activity, and is not impeded by the collection of information. The client is highly optimized for network usage. The deployment to 10,000 workstations will not kill the network access to users.
