Murphy's talk, "One Windows Image for All Your Hardware Platforms," is scheduled to take place at 9:00 am on March 12, 2008. Murphy has a 17-year history in the software industry, writing his first software application at age 19 for Federal Express. He spent nine years at FedEx, eventually shouldering the responsibility for software development and IT training throughout their Midwest region. Late in his career there he added a certification in ISO-9000 Quality Systems training, and after his involvement in FedEx's successful ISO certification, Murphy left in 1998 to begin his own IT and Quality Systems consulting business. As president of Big Bang, he now leads the company's software development and training divisions and holds the pending patent for the Universal Imaging Utility.
