This two and a half-day, Trainer-led workshop is developed and delivered by Binary Research International (BRI).
It is targeted at IT personnel tasked with Image creation, maintenance and deployment within a Windows environment using (primarily) the tools and utilities provided by Microsoft.
Using interactive procedures and hands-on lab exercises throughout the workshop, Participants learn how to install and configure the Microsoft tools and utilities. In addition, Participants learn how to use the tools to capture and deploy Images, which tools to use in a given situation and how to integrate the tools with the Universal Imaging Utility (UIU) to achieve hardware-independent Images.
On completion of the workshop, IT Personnel will:
- Understand completely the two key tasks of capturing an Image from a Master Machine and deploying that Master Image to target computers.
- Know the key Microsoft Imaging tools that are provided for capturing and deploying Windows 7 Images.
- Know how to install and configure these tools and select the correct tool for a given deployment scenario.
- Be able to examine the contents of a Master Image and customize it to apply patches and updates and install additional software.
- Know how to capture, modify, deploy and maintain Images using the Microsoft Tools.
