The Ghost Boot Wizard - Participant Pre-Requisites - Know how and where to install the Symantec Ghost Solution Suite. This software must be installed prior to taking the session.
- Know how to write to different boot media, such as CD/DVD, USB Flash Drive (i.e. Data Key) or ISO file.
- Know how to configure an individual computer to PXE-boot over the network
- Ideally, but not mandatory, know how to configure a server to accept PXE-booted clients.
Ghostcasting and the GhostCast Server - Know how to boot a computer from media prepared using the Ghost Boot Wizard.
- Understand the general concepts behind broadcasting, unicasting and multicasting.
- Know how and where to install the Symantec Ghost Solution Suite. This software must be installed prior to taking the session.
- Know how to write to different boot media, such as CD/DVD, USB Flash Drive (i.e. Data Key) or ISO file.
- Know how to configure an individual computer to PXE-boot over the network
- Ideally, but not mandatory, know how to configure a server to accept PXE-booted clients.

Refund/Cancellation Policy If you are unable to attend a session for which you have registered, you may send a substitute free of charge. If you cannot send a substitute or otherwise need to cancel your registration, please provide notice to the Training Co-Ordinator via e-mail at: Training@BinaryResearch.net. Cancellation requests received by BRI 3 or more business days prior to the training series start date will receive full credit for the same session on a different date. Credit is not available for cancellation requests received by BRI 2 or fewer business days before the training session start date. Refunds nor credits are not available in the situation where the Participant has attended the session and then decided that they did not have the required pre-requisites. |
