OL901 The Ghost Boot Wizard

Training delivered to your desktop via live webinar

What is the function of the Ghost Boot Wizard?

The Ghost Boot Wizard is used to create boot packages, which are Ghost files made available on bootable media.  Bootable media can be a boot disk, a Ghost image file, an ISO image, or a Preboot eXecution Environment (PXE) Image.

Boot packages are used for cloning operations.  For example, a boot disk can be created for GhostCasting, or a boot Image created for use with PXE applications or the Microsoft Remote Installation Service.  The Ghost Boot Wizard guides Users through the process of creating different types of bootable media and helps locate the drivers needed to create a boot package.

This session describes how to use the Ghost Boot Wizard and when to choose one boot option over another.  Using step-by-step procedures, the Trainer demonstrates the tasks needed to create and test bootable media.
